Reviewing FEAST
Pink Apple has previously confessed to her addiction – to books!
So here’s Rosa Say’s description of WHO will gain from a daily visit to Joyful Jubilant Learning Network which is hosting a month-long feast of book reviews.
Here’s the full list of Books and Reviewers.
Tim Milburn has kicked off yesterday with Made to Stick Better Than Ducttape
Pink Apple is particularly looking forward to:
- Do Less Achieve More, a book that only this morning my new friend Estelle Hajigabriel of Mind Your Marketing recommended highly for me! This is to be reviewed by by mate Karen Wallace
- Love is the Killer App to be reviewed by Benjamin Bach
- The Zen of Groups as reviewed by Lisa Haneberg, one of my must-read blog writers
- Go Put Your Strengths to Work reviewed by Blaine Collins a fellow JJLN regular contributor
- Of course, there’s also that one book (written back in the 1920s and still going strong) that I keep meaning to read and never quite get there, Think and Grow Rich. This is reviewed by blogger (new to my horizon) Carolyn Manning
Then, Pink Apple is also reviewing Wherever You Go There You Are. My review appears on March 12.
Of course, I’ll be reading each review but these are the ones that I think, on first glance, I’ll be most eager to hear more about!
Happy reading!
By the Way, what book would you like to see reviewed? Any genre, just name a book!

Chris, as one with a similar affliction (sometimes called addicted to books, sometimes called bookworm), I envy your ability to pick from amongst the choices these few! I’ll admit to having read a couple already but I am still curious to see what they have to say compared to what I already said.
Sharing and learning together is such fun!
Thanks for stopping by Steve!
What with music bug and the book worm we appear to have the same parasites afflicting us!!
I too am really curious to see what others say about books I’ve read but in this list they’re mainly new and fresh so it’s like someone’s seducing me into a whole new world!!!
Pretty cool site you have here, Chris. You’re new to my horizon, too, but that can change.
For the record, the original Think & Grow Rich was written by Napoleon Hill in 1937. Since then, it’s been revised and the most popular is the 1966 version. Until now. The latest edition came out in October, 2004. Ross Cornwell, the editor of this version calls it “The original version, restored and revised”.
Ok, then. Now, I also must read “Wherever You Go, There You Are”.
Carolyn
Ooooh! Nice to have you call by Carolyn.
I reckon that one of the best things about blogging is that you don’t have to be shamed by your messy kitchen when someone “drops by”!!
Thanks for the date stuff I’ll pop in and change that in a minute.
Thanks especially for liking what you see on my site because I love the soothing look and feel of yours.
Hopefully we’ll “see each other again” soon!
Hello Chris,
We are truly off to a great start with the Duct tape review. I’m glad you are looking forward to Buckingham’s new Strength book. I hope it lives up – considering it does ship until next week.
There are a lot of good books to choose from at JJL. The Zen of Groups sounds like it is right up my alley.
Okay Chris, all in good fun here, but I’m ready to rise to this unspoken challenge here – the book I’m set to review tomorrow (well, in 7 hours for you
is not on your list! I love it, so let’s see if I can entice you to read it after my review, book addict that you are.
Deliberately teasing, knowing the good sport that you are!
Rosa
Hey Chris
I’m glad you’re looking forward to reading the review of Tim Sander’s awesome book, love is the killer app. The book ROCKS. Go get it, and become even more of a lovecat.
Be great

Hi Chris,
Sorry I didn’t make it here sooner, as you know we’re doing what we can to make the experience translate into cyberspace for everyone who can’t be there.
Gosh I understand exactly how you feel. I so miss my friends in OZ and can’t quite get the stars aligned so that I can come down to see them.
So many of the people I know here speak so highly of you. I’m convinced it’s our loss that you won’t be in Chicago.
