I should have simply said to myself, "Yes. It's Canberra. It is boring. This is not about me. It's about Canberra." Then I'd have avoided it. But mostly, the recent road trip up there was a pleasure and i think it's coz we were doing different things together rather than being cooped up in a house for 8 weeks like we were last summer when the bank balance was in the red. :) Good post, Chris.
