Chris Owen

  • set up Pink Apple in 2003 and offers individual, group, and couple coaching. She runs relationship and life skills workshops as well as team development workshops for small business.

  • is passionate in her belief that people can change unproductive communication habits. She wants to make a profound positive difference in the lives of the people she meets.

"It's common knowledge that ALL relationships need work, but many people are ashamed, or think it's too late, to confess they don't know HOW!

Effective communication is the bedrock of all relationships, in our workplaces, with friends and extended family, and especially at home.!"

    Chris Owen
  • has been married for 30 years to her soul mate and biggest fan. She describes him as having enormous patience and being unconditionally loving. Both agree, they started their relationship with no idea of how to communicate effectively, and nearly left it too late to learn!

  • has three adult sons, all successful men, who are her strongest advocates, while being entirely committed to keeping her feet well and truly on the ground!

  • started her career as a general nurse, later specializing in midwifery and then infertility nursing.

  • became a highly successful Nurse Manager of an IVF unit, planning and implementing a series of innovative, suburban centers of service excellence for her employers.

  • has held management roles in both public and private sectors of the health industry, achieving substantial quality improvement, and becoming a prize-winning conference presenter, as she went. Her commitment to quality drove her involvement with the reproductive technology's Australasian accreditation group.

  • has gained a Bachelor of Education, and a Certificate of Coach and Mentor Practice, and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and is working towards achieving Associate Certified Coach credentials, within the ICF.

  • and her partner have many years involvement in a voluntary, international, relationship enrichment group, as members, co-ordinators, and executive board. They have travelled within Victoria and interstate as presenters.

  • describes herself as an "outrageous extravert". She likes to work to a clear goal and plan, but with a hefty dose of fun, humor and meeting people's identified needs, all wrapped up in the parcel.
