Oops I forgot to let everyone know!
Thanks for all of the highly amusing public and private entries for a ticket to Mums Night Out!
However I couldn't go past Shelley Ware's comment above!
I love this tale of vengeful fantasies made more real by buying a tablecloth! Very sexy the old tablecloth!
Congratulations Shelley and have fun at Mums Night Out!

Oh Maria - the Black Act! Despite being brought up in Irish Catholic cultured Australia back in the 50s - That's a NEW One on me!!!
Sounds a bit like the "dark arts' in Harry Potter!

Thanks Danielle I'd forgotten good old "bonking". Can't imagine how that one slipped past my initial list!

Karen "special cuddles" sounds suitably coy doesn't it?

I also had an email from an old friend yesterday suggesting "the wild thing"!

Hi Chris,
What a fun list.
I thought I'd add something under the banner of social history and a good laugh and share something from old school Catholic Ireland, where "doing it" was commonly referred to by older generations as "the black act"!

Not easy to find the funniest..they are often funny when talking about it with a girlfriend but no so much to my husband. One of the moments that made me smile after the dust had settled and still to this day makes me smile. Was when I got so angry at my husband on a trip to Port Douglas didnt speak the WHOLE trip, I was planning my escape in my head. I started imagining my new life...went to a market and bought a stunning table cloth (without him) for my new patio table in my new one bedroom Richmond apartment!
When all anger finally faded and we started talking I showed him the table cloth he said "Did you buy this for your new apartment you were going to live in when you left me!?!"
How did he know... was I that obvious? I didn't say a word but he knew me so well. I still have a little giggle when I get it out to use on our patio table cloth...ten years later!
So ridiculous to not talk for that long now we have it down to a few hours...still working on that NO-NO!

haha - great list! I don't think we have a pet name, it's more of a certain raise of eyebrow or touch...

There is a morning team on a radio station here in Brisbane that call it 'special cuddles'.
